"Hello!" Boulders Beach is a beach made up of huge granite boulders, from which it's name originated. It is situated near Simon's Town towards Cape Point and is a popular stop for tourists and visitors alike, because of its famous penguin colony which settled there in 1982. These African Penguins are only found on the coastlines of Southern Africa and are currently on the verge of extinction unfortunately. 🐧☀️

Duiker Island, also know as Seal Island, is a small island situated off of Hout Bay. Renowned for its marine wildlife, birds and of course the famous Cape Fur Seals that inhabit the island. There are many companies that provide boat trips out to the island. Hout Bay is also very famous for its fresh fish and seafood, so be sure to stop for lunch before or after your boat trip! It is also one of the stops on the Blue Route of the City Sightseeing Bus. 👌

Devil's Peak forms part of the beautiful mountainous backdrop of Cape Town. It supposedly got it's name from the folktale (or urban legend) about a Dutch man named Jan Van Hunks, an impressive pipe smoker, who one day while smoking his pipe, met a stranger who also smoked. They bragged to each how much they smoked and eventually fell into a pipe smoking contest. The stranger then turned out to be the devil and Jan eventually won the contest. After their contest the mountain was covered with smoke and so formed what is today known as 'the table cloth' which covers Table Mountain when the clouds roll over.

Rhodes Memorial is situated on the northern slope of Table Mountain. Providing panoramic views of Cape Town and one of the few vantage points that both the Atlantic and Indian oceans can be seen; this architecturally stunning memorial is dedicated to Cecil John Rhodes (1853-1902) and was designed by the world renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker. It consists of a massive staircase with 49 steps (1 step for each year of Rhode's life) and was built from Cape granite.

The farm grows over 300 edible plants and quite literally optimizes the concept of 'farm to table'. The 26-meter greenhouse is tucked away under the oak trees at the rear end of the garden.
