Had two young Doctors from Scotland bikepacking through Western Cape. They camped here last night after a tough hot day in saddle from Riversdale via Van Wyksdorp and over Rooiberg Pass. This morning I cycled out with them for 25km as they on their way to George. Got home and found this card in camp scullery.

The Nels River once again in flood as dam overflowing. It was around 1/2 meter higher at 1.30am this morning, could not see any lucerne.

Leiwater time again.

After 30mm of good rains the bottom of our property along the Nels River is flooded.

Gasteria Grange Self-catering Accommodation

Welcome to Gasteria Grange where Kevin and Colleen Taylor are your hosts.

We are situated just off the famous Route 62, from Montague to Humansdorp, on the outskirts of Calitzdorp. Our accommodation consists of two units each with one queen size bed.

Our Garden Cottage is self-catering and comprises a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette and private braai facilities on its own private patio.

The Grand Gasteria open-plan room comprises a queen-size bed, a spacious en-suite with a shower, a seating area on an enclosed stoep with built-in braai. The room is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, and tea- and coffee- making facilities. The room is also equipped with a TV with Open-view channels.
