Marco' African Place

African penguins at Boulders Beach in Cape Town are known for their distinctive black and white plumage. They are the only penguin species found on the continent. These penguins are relatively small, standing about 60 centimeters tall and weighing around 2 to 5 kilograms. They are highly social birds, often forming large colonies for breeding and nesting. Boulders Beach is home to one of the few mainland African penguin colonies, offering visitors a unique opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat.
