Today on world ocean day, we celebrate the Great African Sea Forest. DYK, the kelp forest stretches from Cape Town to more than 1000km North all the way to Namibia?

These ecological winders have also recently been named as one of the new seven wonders of the world by Bloomberg.

Sea forests can be found all around the world's coast line and play an integral part in the surrounding environments. They are complex eco systems that support a variety of life and need to be protected at all costs.

You can experience a taste of these forests for yourself by joining a snorkel for science experience in Simon's Town.
