Hey everyone! 😁 It’s been long since I’ve posted about my traveling endevours with you 🫣

I’ve ever since been captivated by the rhythm of Cape Town’s heartbeat, where I stepped into a new chapter of my journey as a tour guide intern 🧗‍♂️ Each cobblestone street and breathtaking vista tells a story, and I’m thrilled to be the storyteller 🤭 From the majestic Table Mountain, to the vibrant streets of Bo-Kaap, every corner holds a world of discovery. As I walk this path, I invite you to join me virtually on this expedition, where together, we’ll uncover the hidden gems and share moments that transcend time 🤩

I am thrilled with the experience that I’ve gained through this internship in the past 3 months, where I’ve been executing on showing other interns from abroad, our beautiful Mother City! 🇿🇦 And of course, to my locals as well, I’ll take you along on the ventures that we partake in!

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen” - Isaiah 60:22

Aged at 21, living a dream that I have never imagined myself living in in the future.

From growing up in the small coastal fishing town of Saldanha Bay, to living in the bustling and beautiful Cape Town city centre! I can’t be any more proud of the person that I have become, and all in God’s will.

Never have I imagined that tourism would’ve changed my life for the better, when my primary career choice was to become an educator. But God had other plans, and look at what He has done for me, and this is only the beginning! Never have I imagined myself to be living in the most beautiful city in Africa, and one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

With this experience that I’m about to gain, I want to fully give back to my community and also make the lives of my community in Saldanha Bay more pleasant. But as for now, I am truly blessed and honoured with this opportunity of starting my new dream job in Cape Town, and did I mention, at the AGE OF 21?! With almost having my first university qualification!

Let this be an indication to you, no matter your circumstances or how much you doubt in yourself, rise above it and achieve the unthinkable!

Dié een is vir jou, Saldanhabaai. Dis nie ‘n “totsiens”, maar ‘n “tot ons weer ontmoet”, wanneer ek as jong inwoner van Saldanha, ‘n verskil gaan kom maak in my gemeenskap. 🙏🏽

We’re active again!!! 🥳

And I’m back with my traveling journeys, as I enlighten you, my generous followers, on my travels, both local and internationally! 🌍

Today, I went to the city centre of Cape Town, in the V&A Waterfront, where I visited loads of attractions. Some of the attractions that I have visited, is the Zeits Museum of Contemporary Art of Africa. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! 😍 This is definitely a place I’d recommend you to go to when visiting in the V&A Waterfront. It is located next to the Silo Hotel and Raddison Hotel 😁

Side Note: Entry is completely free on Wednesdays between 10:00 and 13:00. So you have no excuse not to visit this astonishing venue 🏛️

DAY 5 ~ Dubai Miracle Gardens 🇦🇪

If you are a sinus-aholic (like me 😅), you'd definitely skip going here, but how could you resist the beauty of each sculpture and shape, ENTIRELY MADE OUT OF FLOWERS?! This was one amazing place to visit, and see how things are made entirely out of sources of nature 🌺🌻🌼🌷

DAY 5 ~ Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai 🇦🇪

To those who knows me well, will know that this is my favorite building in the world 😅 Literally shed a tear when I saw it yesterday, during the day time, but tonight was just an even more spectacular view. With lights glazing over the iconic architecture which stretches 828m into the Dubai skyline 🤩

Part 1 | One of the biggest indoor amusement parks, found in the city of Abu Dhabi, in the U.A.E. Was surely a trip down memory lane, seeing how all your favourite cartoon characters have their own significant rooms and extreme rides 🎠🎡🎢
