World Travel Awards

We are partnering with Ele-Collection to address the plastic waste crisis in the region encompassing Victoria Falls, Livingstone, and Hwange. This area produces approximately 300–400 tonnes of plastic waste each month, with Victoria Falls town alone contributing around 60–90 tonnes monthly—amounting to an estimated 730,000–1 million kilograms of waste annually.

This waste isn’t just damaging the environment—it’s causing the tragic deaths of over 5000 animals in 2010 alone and leading to more elephant attacks due to plastic ingestion.

By working together, we can protect both our wildlife and local communities in creating a cleaner future for all.
