WARNING: Camino & Co adventures can be addictive ⚠️

One of the greatest joys of our work is the deep friendships we are able to form with those who journey with us - and even better when they return for a second or third time!

On our most recent Camino we had Trudy and Mike from Colorado join for their 3rd Camino & Co adventures, and Chris and Aat from South Africa for their 2nd time.

Meet An and Tiaan Bakkas - the pioneering pilgrims! 🌟

We recently had the privilege of curating a custom itinerary for this South African couple to take on the Camino de Santiago by themselves. They let us know their dates and preferred route, and we handled the rest!

There's something special about Camino hospitality 🇪🇸

We've been staying at this beautiful country villa in rural Morgade for the past 6 Camino Frances adventures, and every time we arrive we are welcomed with open arms by the beautiful family that runs it. With each visit, our travellers are stunned by the delicious homemade bread, hearty meals and the best Sangria in Spain - all made with love by the beautiful Abuelita and her daughters.

Looking forward to our next visit already!

The Camino provides for the horses!

A common expression used amongst pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago is ‘the Camino will provide’. The sentiment is that whatever you need en route will find its way to you.

This truth can be fulfilled in many different ways - perhaps a poignant conversation with a stranger whilst walking, a coffee shop around the right corner, a friendly local to point you in the right direction, or even an apple for the beautiful horse at the side of the road 🍎🍎

150 kilometres, 100s of ‘Buen Caminos’, at least 50 cafe con leche’s and 17 new friends later - we have made it Santiago!

Well done to all of you for taking on the uphills, downhills, rain and sunshine with smiles and determination. Definitely what I call walking with good company 🙌🏼

Celebrating special moments on the Camino 🥂 Happy 71st Birthday Aat! 🥳

Cake in the morning, champagne in the afternoon and more cake in the evening - what a special day celebrating this very special lady together!

This is the second Camino and Co adventure that Aat and her husband Chris have joined, and what a privilege it has been to walk alongside her for part of her larger journey of 71 years and counting 🙌🏼 May there be many more and may they be blessed 🍾

Buen Camino! Day 1 of walking ✅

Today we kicked off our Camino journey with a stunning 10km between Triacastela and Samos.

After enjoying the fresh crisp air and beauty of the Galcian countryside throughout the morning, we checked in at our wonderful accommodation and then spent the afternoon basking in the serenity of Samos - a gorgeous town famous for its Benedictine Monastry built in the 6th century ⛪️

Today we are en route to Triacastela, the starting point of our Camino journey 🏁

Along the way, we stopped off in the beautiful Astorga for a delicious lunch and to take in the rich history of the medieval town known for its Antonio Gaudí architecture and local chocolate-making industry 🍫 ⛪️

Next you’ll see of us, we’ll have our walking shoes on and be ready to get down to business! 👟

Hola España! 🇪🇸 We have officially touched down in Madrid to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the majestic capital city before embarking on our Camino adventure.

The group came together on the first evening for a delicious and insightful tapas tour, after which we spent the next day exploring all manner of delights the city has to offer - fun, fun, fun!
