Cape Peninsula Tour in two days 🌸🌼🌺

Start along the Kalk Bay coast, explore bolders and Cape Point before checking in at The Last Word Long Beach for the the night.
Wake up listening to the ocean, enjoy a morning beach walk and proceed via Chapman’s Peak, Hout Bay and the Atlantic Seaboard back to Cape Town.

Jade had two jam packed days enjoying various activities such as Nature Walks, visiting the Tower of Pizza, the silent Women and Falcon Ridge as well as taking part in a clay crafting competition.

Her absolute highlight was the Boys Choir School Wednesday afternoon concert at Drakensburg Boys School. A must see in the region. Concerts are weekly on Wednesday afternoon and Tickets can be purchased on webtickets.

Jade is currently exploring the beautiful Drakensburg area, joining the 2024 Drakensburg Fam Trip hosted by Drakensburg Tourism in partnership with SATSA

Not only is she visiting various properties but also taking part in many activities the area has to offer.

Her first stop is the beautiful Champagne Valley where she visited the Berg and Lifestyle Centre for beer and chocolate tasting.

Good news for all our visitors!

Our cable cars will return to service on Wednesday, depending on weather conditions. All our commercial activities at the upper and lower stations will also be back in service. We thank you for your understanding while investigations into last week’s fire continues.

We can confirm that the flames and fire was contained to the garage and did not reach the machinery that operate the movement of the cable cars, and it is safe for us to resume service. If you were not able to make use of a ticket you had bought, please remember that there is a window period in which to use it. You can apply for a refund if you prefer. Our free birthday ticket offer will be extended into November – if your birthday was in October, you will have extra time to make use of your free return trip.

Please note that the cable cars are currently suspended.

Structural engineers will arrive this morning to investigate the damage caused by a fire on Thursday, to the parking garage and the administration building at the lower station. The flames did not reach the machinery that operates the cable cars. While the engineers carry out their tests today, we will suspend our cable cars.

We hope to provide an update on when we can resume by late on Friday.

20 Years ATG - Africa Travel 🥂🍾🥳 Happy birthday to us!!

Yesterday ATG celebrated their 20th anniversary and for this special occasion the team spent the night in Franschhoek.

We started our trip with a fun and informative farm Tour at Boschendal, followed by a wine tasting 🍷

In the afternoon we checked in at the beautiful Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa before heading back to town for an absolute treat - dinner at the Epice, an intimate fine dining experience with a menu inspired by the warmth of spices.

Before checking out the next morning we enjoyed treatments at the Camelot Spa Le Franschhoek and a delicious breakfast. What a way to start a Monday!

We ended off the day with the Franschhoek Wine Tram, visiting some of Franschhoek’s most popular wine farms.

Yesterday, Auzla, Lutha and Tammy did some site inspections in Cape Town. They started their day with a nice breakfast at the Cape Riviera - Boutique Hotel, located at the foot of Table Mountain in the upmarket suburb Oranjezicht.
