Hello friends I will be away from the studio, returning and taking bookings on 7 January. To all the wonderful humans and beings who continue to support me and our studio, @thebodyarchitects : I wish you unrivalled adventures, deep experiences and delicious treats. Thank you for all the years and stories, i am truly overjoyed to still be able to do the things i love to you (pl). Lets aim high and with love for 2025

My office for the afternoon at @theunderscore_market ... sharing space with @rat.boi.tats and @thatbloomingtree There is a flight of stairs to get to the entrance - if anyone needs help getting up, please message me. We will be doing all piercings from R350, with additional discounts if you opt to play our game.

Our Story

A body piercing and modification team working primarily at The Body Architects located in 2nd Avenue, Kenilworth, Cape Town. Headed by Lliezel Ellick, they wish to carve a new understanding and relevance into modification practices, ideas and rituals.

Samantha Rose Butcher and Armin Hensel are the other two members of the current team.

Armin Hensel has residence at Kak Lucky Tattoos in Kloof Street in Cape Town City Centre.
