Cruizing Afrika just returned from our 12 day Skeleton Coast and Rivers trip. All we can say if you want to see the more remote Northern part of Namibia this is the trip for you. Starting in St Nowhere, we head up the Skeleton Coast to the Kunene Mouth, cross the dune fields to the Hartman Valley, down to Puros and then a few nights on the Mudarib River ending at Palmwag. Cruizing Afrika is excited to launch a new product!! This Mobile Self Drive Safari traverses the unique landscape of the Kaokoland.
The Kaokoland area extends from the Hoanib river to the Kunene River. It is largely mountainous, with the northern Baynes Mountains reaching the maximum elevation at 2039 m. Other notable mountain ranges of Kaokoland include the Otjihipa Mountains and Hartmann Mountains. The land is generally dry and rocky, especially to the south, where it borders on the Namib Desert; nevertheless, it has several rivers as well as falls.
With the Guided Self Drive team, you will experience the Kaokoland of Namibia and its beauty like never before, conducted in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner.
