Had the pleasure fishing with my good friend and colleague, Wikus from MMM Cape Town Fishing Adventures and the team from Jacita Tackle & Outdoor!

What fun we had! Was great showing Wikus the ropes in my play ground in the deep blue sea.

Some memorable moments I will not forget. To sum it up, Wikus got a hiding from both a fish and some birds, you can ask him yourself to share the stories😂😂😂

There is no rush like a fish taking your lure, especially a Tuna or a Yellow Tail, whether it is a stick bait or popper. Once that fish takes off, you know the game is on!!

What a privilege to fish on this awesome boat! Had one of my hardest fights with what we though was a tripple digit. This fish did everything to break me off, on the surface, under the boat and around it a few times.

One of the deckboats told us earlier that morning the fish are different beasts today. With them breaking a rod earlier that morning, we expected some hard fights, but this is a fight I will not forget for a very long time!

What a memorable week we had last week! We fished the nationals hosted by Eden and got the medals to show for it!!

Our team took 2nd place overall.
I ended 6th individually and was selected to represent South Africa in the SA Presidents team🇿🇦, against Namibia in Namibia🇳🇦! In fact, two of our two members made the SA team. A dream that came true in a very short space! All honour to our creator for our gifts and talents🙏🏻

I could not be prouder of my team and how well we did as unit. Together with our management and guides, we conquered and we showed we meant business!

Congratulations to a group of amazing guys, you guys are a bunch of legends, we look forward to sharing many more memories and celebrations together! Each and every person made a big impact and it would not have been possible without you! What a bomb squad🎣
