Indonesia, the land of spices, has rich, traditional drinks that are fresh, unique, and healthy. Most of their drinks are a mixture of spices with healthy nutrients.
Es Cendol is made from rice flour, and served with grated ice, liquid palm sugar, and coconut milk while Es Teler is a drink containing pieces of fresh avocado, young coconut, jackfruit, and diluted coconut milk.

In Indonesia, Kering Kentang is a popular side dish served with plain rice, nasi kuning, or nasi tumpeng. Kering Kentang means crispy potatoes. In this dish, crispy potatoes are fried and then tossed in a spicy, sweet, slightly tangy, and aromatic thick sauce. It’s super delicious! Orangutans are great apes native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia. They are now found only in parts of Borneo and Sumatra. The world 'orangutan' is derived from Malay, and means 'person of the forest' ('orang' being 'person', and 'hutan' meaning 'forest').

The Bornean orangutan inhabits large portions of Borneo, whereas the Sumatran orangutan and the Tapanuli orangutan are limited to northern Sumatra. Orangutans possesses cognitive abilities comparable to those of the gorilla and the chimpanzee, which are the only primates more closely related to humans.

Despite being one of the most instantly-recognisable and endearing animals on the planet, orangutans are in fact critically endangered. There are now only around 60,000 orangutans remaining in the wild, and these great apes need our help now more than ever!!
