“Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.” I believe art is a personal experience.

It gives me the greatest feeling of achievement when people look at my photos and experience the captured essence and feel of a moment in time. I attended a part-time beginner’s course in photography at City Varsity in March 2010. The course gave me a great foundation to work from, outlining the basics in photography. With time I hope that the combination of my artistic talent and technical skills I would be able to create meaningful art.

I had the privilege of photographing Eddie and Andrea Wilkinson’s wedding celebration at the amazing Avondale Wine venue and what an amazing wedding filled with LOTS of laughter and happiness! A big thank you as always to Eliska Campher for assiting. Cannot wait to share more soon!

It was so special to do this newborn session on Stevie and Michelle Jardim's wedding anniversary! Michelle brought her wedding veil to studio and we used it in the session. Makeup done by Mana Makeup

I am so in love with this session, if you have, for whatever reason, missed your chance to do a newborn shoot THIS is your answer. You still get all those beautiful details and as a bonus you get sweet faces and interaction! I do my newborn sessions at 7/8 days after birth and if you are not feeling up to it be sure to book a 3 month session! This session was done for Ulandi Groenewald and her little Emma!

Good Morning, launched my Christmas sessions yesterday afternoon and already spots are filling up fast. Let me know if you still want to book a session, it will be my usual setup which I love and know is timeless and focusses on you and your family! Sessions will be on the 8th, 9th and 10th of November and times are attached. Friday sessions are R950 and Saturday and Sunday sessions R1250. Each session is 20-30 minutes and include 15 edited images. Makeup available on Friday and Sunday by Mana Makeup and Saturday TBC. Beautiful dresses from Poppie will be available in studio to hire at an extra cost. I am so excited to see you in studio for these beautiful sessions!

A little personal post from my side...I have been slow in replying the last 2 weeks. I recently took my daughter to the Peppa Pig show and when they asked what mommy likes to do for fun, my daughter shouted, WORK! I am in a constant battle between spending time with family and friends and working. I then said to her we are going on holiday and I wont be taking my laptop with me, she replied : "Mom you are lying, you are going to take your laptop." I decided to put my out of office on and not take my laptop with on holiday, sorry not sorry hahahahaha. I haven't been on holiday without my laptop since I started photography probably 14 years ago, I am always a call, email or whatsapp away for my clients. I am NOT complaining I really love what I do but we had a much needed break without work distractions for the school holidays and I feel refreshed and ready to go again! ALSO I will be launching my Christmas Minis later today so be ready to book, only one weekend available. I am sharing a few personal pics of our holiday and our new "baby" Mili! Lets do this! Only a few months to go till Christmas!
