Intern Kyle's Journey with Bikes 'n Wines.

In just two months, Kyle is feeling a newfound confidence. He’s learned how to overcome his natural shyness and is growing more comfortable in his role as a trainee tour guide. One key lesson Kyle has embraced is situational awareness - remaining calm and prepared when unexpected challenges arise on tour.

His favourite memory so far? On tour in Franschhoek, giving guests a deeper understanding of the area's different communities, from the wealthy to the less fortunate. “They really appreciated us showing them both sides.”

Intern Yongama's Journey with Bikes 'n Wines 🚴‍♂️

Yongama has been soaking up every lesson from his internship so far! His biggest takeaway? “Stay open-minded, embrace new challenges, and welcome different people and ideas.” He says that's what will shape his future.

Professionally, he's growing more confident in interacting with guests and sharing his knowledge of bicycles, wine, and the stunning estates visited on tour. Personally, he says he’s become more active, welcoming, and even noticed his fitness improving!

One of his favourite experiences so far has been on tour in Franschhoek, where he shared his culture and language with guests.
