Happy Valentines day!

Today we share one of out favourite love stories ❤️

Mr M and Mrs M have been married for 62 years and are still going strong.

They fell in love when Mr M was a 19 year old medical student and Mrs M a 17 year old Scholar. Mr M remembers fetching Mrs M from school when they began their relationship. They have 3 children and 7 grand children and are still very happily married.

We asked him what the makings are of a successful marriage. His advise (as always) is wise and gives us all something to think about.

“A marriage is made successful by considering the 10 C’s: The good C’s are Compassion, Communication, Compromise, Contact, Connection, Commitment, Co-operation and Consistency. The bad C’s (that you need to be equally aware of) are Control and Complacency. These take work. Relationships take work. Love is important but the effort you put into your marriage is just as important.
