Fun facts about rhinoceros, zebra, lions, and elephants!

- Did you know rhino horn is made of the protein keratin? It’s the same protein that makes up human hair and fingernails.

- Did you know that no Zebra shares the same set of stripes? Each Zebra has stripes as unique to them as a human fingerprint.

- Did you know lions can eat up to 40kg of meat in a single meal - around a quarter of their body weight?

- Did you know there are three species of elephant? They include the African Savanna (Bush), African Forest and Asian elephant. One way you can tell them apart is by looking at their ears. The ears of African elephants are much larger than their cousins and are described as being shaped like the African continent, whereas the ears of Asian elephants are shaped like the Indian subcontinent.
