With the help of the Premier of the Western Cape, Alan Winde, we launched our solar farm in 2021, which powers all of our milk processing and production 100% off the grid - a first for Africa.

We are proud to announce that over the last year, we have utilised 1,498,000 kWh of solar energy and continue to grow our solar goals.

Paarl was abuzz this past Easter weekend with netball from the top High Schools from around the country. For the second year in a row, Fair Cape Dairies has thrown its support behind the Super Schools Netball Tournament hosted by La Rochelle Girls' High School.

This prestigious netball tournament brings together the best Under-19 teams from across South Africa. Fair Cape Dairies is committed to more than just naming rights. "We are providing essential fuel for the athletes by supplying fresh dairy products to players and officials throughout the tournament which are obviously rich in nutrients and protein.” Said Louis Loubser, Chief Marketing Officer of Fair Cape.

“This sponsorship reflects Fair Cape Dairies' dedication to fostering the development of women's sports, particularly netball. By supporting this high-profile tournament, we are providing a platform for talented young athletes to showcase their skills and compete against the best in the country in their age group. This exposure could be a stepping stone for them to reach the highest levels in the world of netball” continued Loubser.

Fair Cape has always believed in supporting local communities. The Easter weekend event was highly successful, thanks to the support of parents, traveling supporters from around the country, and the local Winelands community.
