Get in touch with African Nature!

Do you have one more day before or after climbing Kilimanjaro Mount? Do you want to spend one day walking around in one of the popular National Park in Tanzania?

Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere.

Set off on foot towards one of the most secluded parts of the Tarangire National Park, accompanied by our professional guide. All of our guides are local Tanzanians, fluent in English, and most have advanced wildlife certificates from the Mweka Wildlife College - the oldest and most prestigious wildlife college in Africa!

Guides will expertly teach you how to recognise and follow various wildlife tracks.

Tours are operated in a manner that won’t disturb the natural field, as such animals remain unaware, and thus unthreatened to human presence. All parties remain safe and can enjoy the adventure among breathtaking scenery.

Delight in rare close-up encounters, coming within 15 metres (50 feet) of zebra, waterbuck, impala, ostrich, and even the massive African elephant. Your guide will share information about animals, their particular behaviours, and tracking skills. Apart from larger wildlife, such as Tarangire’s renowned and high numbers of elephant, you can also interact with various insects and curious birds.

End the delightful tracking tour by hugging one of the gigantic baobab trees that mark the lush landscape.

Botswana safari holidays provide the most exclusive and spectacular wildlife and Big 5 experience in Southern Africa. This unspoiled country gives you a taste of true wilderness!

The Chobe National Park is home to Africa's largest elephant population as well as huge herds of buffalo, zebra and many antelope species, and with such abundant game, Botswana has plenty of Africa's top predators – lion, leopard, hyenas and rare wild dogs.

A boat trip along the Chobe River allows you to see the animals from a different perspective. Let’s get up close and observe crocodiles, hippos and other animals coming down to the river to drink.

Afterwards, enjoy the saltpans and Kalahari scrubland south of the delta. This is the home to exceptional experiences like quad biking safaris and genuine cultural encounters with Africa’s indigenous people.

Do you still have any reasons not to take safari in Botswana?

What do you know about one of the greatest attractions in Africa?

Of course, we are talking about Victoria Falls - the only waterfall in the world with a length of more than a kilometer and a height of more than a hundred meters. Victoria Falls sits between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe attracting many tourists from over the World.

Some interesting facts:

▪️The noise of Victoria Falls can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometers, while the spray and mist from the falling water are rising to a height of over 400 meters!

▪️550 million liters of water drops every minute over the cliff at Victoria Falls and continues flowing downstream as the lower Zambezi River.

▪️Tourists can actually swim and even lean over the edge of Africa's Victoria Falls.

▪️Most of the trails are on the Zambian side. However, from this site, travelers will only be able to see 20% of the Victoria Falls. While there are fewer trails on the Zimbabwe side, you will be able to see approximately 80% of the Falls.

▪️Elephants visit the waterfall to feed on grasses and fruits growing along the banks of the river and on islands in the middle of the river above the falls.

▪️Brave travelers can jump from the Victoria Falls Bridge and as the river connects the two countries.

Safarisource has a special itinerary for you: 5 days vacation in Victoria Falls and safari in Chobe National Park. The price starts from 1899$. Hurry up!

What do we know about zebras?

Safarisource have collected five the most interesting facts about these stripy African mammals right here. Check it out:

1. Zebras are far more aggressive and a lot more dangerous than horses. Zebras have been known to kick each other to death, they will viciously bite any human that comes too close, and there are even many accounts of zebras killing lions.

2. Zebras are very speedy animals and can reach speeds of up to 65 km / h. This is just fast enough to outpace predators such as lions. Foals can run with the herd within a few hours of birth.

3. Zebras are black with white stripes! Sometimes they don’t have stripes on their bellies, in which case the fur is white, so we used to think that zebras were white with black stripes. But recent research has shown that a zebra’s color is actually black, and it’s the white that’s added on top.

4. Like horses, zebras sleep standing up, and usually only when in the safety of a group.

5. One of the most extraordinary phenomena calls Wildebeest migration where millions of zebra, blue wildebeest and other antelope between the Serengeti in Tanzania and Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of lush grazing grounds and life-giving water.

Do you want to get an unforgettable experience and look at Wildebeest migration with your own eyes? Ask us how: [email protected]

Have a great day, our dear travelers!
