It's a chilled Rosé beauty, from the Marsovin estate Gozo island, appropriately named after the Odyssey to Malta. Crispy refreshing notes of strawberry, rasberry and melon with an intensity that fills your palate. At 32° today a sure winner. Produced from Syrah- Grenache varitals grown in Gozo.

After a 4 length swim across, I stumbled into a deli alas, spotted, Bruce Jack wines. Homesick? Or just a South African palate? Well, I did take it home to share, it appears yes has to do with out SA palate. Must say Malta has an incredibly poor representation of SA wines, no variety even in the top wineshops you will find a selection of 2 to 4 farms represented? We are in the Eurozone right? I have fully enjoyed savouring a taste of SA in my Maltese collective home.

Favourite: Pinot Bianco. Island life, island style. Tried octopus twice and not a great fan, the calamari here is really delicious and pair well with the Bianco or Farsnghina. Must lay the lightly wooded Chardonnay to rest for a bit while exploring.

Not over-the-top rich, and very drinkable with long, supple, fruit-filled, plummy finish that is very pleasant

What a day- what a supercali-fragelistic day. Domaine des Dieux to CREATION to BEAUMONT family farm for the concert and pure vibe under the stars. MCC your way into a wonderful lunch outing, do not stop- dance barefoot and sing your heart out to Watershed on farm soil, fall into your bed with a cheshire cat smile in your heart. Your day was beautiful.

What a little treasure, you are all missing out. Did not have any expectations given it is a 2012 and ullage was starting. Well yummy yummy yummy Petit Verdot, structured, refined again Mitre's Edge surprises. Bold, yet gentle, integrated, plum, floral, yes fruity, and violets, just superb.

It is one of the 6 cultivars in a Bordeaux blend, characteristically small grapes and late ripening, often harvested last, with plenty of sunlight being absorbed. Only a few Petit Verdot's exist unblended.

Good human rights day to you all! May human rights pervail.
