Joining us for a Stellenbosch Winelands Experience this week is the crew from .2.capetown 🇬🇧 🇿🇦

Karen, James & Spence set off in their beloved Edna, a 2010 Toyota Hilux, in March and reached the Mother City in just 104 days. Edna’s chassis took some heavy abuse along the way and even broke completely at one point. They’re all safe and sound in Africa’s most beautiful place after the most epic of adventures. We love road trips and we love so these are our type of Revelers! 👌🏽

Time to give the trusty girl a rest and treat the trio to some top South African wines and memorable vineyards. 🥂 🍇

Huge sand dunes and keen Revelers! We teamed up with Fat Bike Tours South Africa and to explore the wonders of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve situated only 2 hours from the Mother City.

When designing her week long trip to the Cape Yvette mentioned to us that a curry in the streets of the Bo-Kaap was something she had wanted for years. Faeeza and her centuries old recipes delivered as they always do. This City ❤️

Susan & Ken from Auburn California joined us for 3 days this month as they bravely conquered Table Mountain before encountering our Southern Right friends of Walker Bay and cruised the Cape Peninsula on a sunny Spring Day. The first holiday abroad they've taken in 20 years, we were priveleged to be a part of this.

Shout out to the mountain guru I AM Brendon Wainwright who is the newest addition to our team of step-on guides. One of the very best in helping you navigate our iconic peaks.

Emma has ambitions of becoming a marine biologist one day so it was no surprise that she really reveled in this interaction with a moon jelly on the lagoon waters of the West Coast National Park. With non toxic tentacles too short to pack any kind of meaningful sting you feel little if anything at all. They're not adverse to engagement or handling neither. A real treat for everyone on the day.

Mars? Or a dramatic wilderness just 3 hours from Cape Town? The Wolfberg Cracks and Arch in the magnificent Cederberg was the setting for one of our favourite ever July winter experiences.

A Friday afternoon rock art trip and a visit to SA's 2nd deepest Canyon followed by the 7hr return hike to the Arch via the Cracks on Saturday made for a memorable 2 days in the . Saturday night in front of the fire sharing pizzas, wine and travel stories from around the world was a suitable way to cap it all off. This is slow travel at its absolute best.

From Travelers to Revelers and Revelers to Friends. That's the journey.

"We're going to hike on Saturday morning, it's a bit of a Recce for me too."

This was the invitation from Dawid the original Toerboer to join him in summiting South Africa's 2nd highest peak outside of the Drakensburg complex. At 7900ft and with a 4250ft elevation gain the Nardousberg is an unforgiving but equally rewarding beast. This was a truly memorable day out with the an expert and advocate of this vast region in the Eastern Cape Province.

So much of Dawid's story resonates with ours, the ultimate Reveler of the Karoo (desert) if you will. He sees the now and the future travel like we do; slow and immersive with a focus on the connection between people, place and product.

Starting in the spring we'll be teaming up with Dawid and his team to create more memories in the wilderness with our future Reveler. Showcasing the Great Karoo desert like you've never seen it before.

Every year for 5-6 months the area of Walker Bay near the town of Hermanus attracts some of the world’s most spectacular mammals, the Southern Right & Humpback Whales. Migrating from Antarctica, they arrive in the waters of the bay with one intention; to mate and calve. Together with our friends at Southern Right Charters we'll get you closer than ever before to observe and not disturb.

Part 2 of your experience takes you to the epic Benguela Cove Estate for a wine tasting treat on a safari vehicle through the Vineyards. Your day ends with a memorable afternoon on the cliffs of Clarens Drive and a visit to the African Penguin Colony at Stony Point.
