Sam recently returned from an incredible journey through Namibia with Natural Selection and got to extend to Serra Cafema & Omaanda, and it was truly an experience to remember! From stargazing in abundance to the awe-inspiring desert landscapes, every moment was filled with adventure and wonder.

The trip’s highlights included thrilling safaris from the stunning Hoanib Valley Camp, connecting with the Himba people and their rich culture, and taking in the jaw-dropping views at Serra Cafema. Sam also enjoyed exciting activities like sundowner drives, quad biking across red dunes, and exploring the wild coastlines at Shipwreck Lodge.

Each stop offered something special, and the hospitality was unmatched. Namibia’s wild beauty and warmth left Sam in awe!

Juan had the pleasure of enjoying an extraordinary lunch at Salon Cpt this past Saturday, and it was nothing short of perfection. While there were no sweeping views, the impeccable service, outstanding food, and warm, inviting atmosphere made up for it with an unforgettable dining experience.

Opting for the Pioneer Wine Tasting, Juan was treated to expertly paired wines, each accompanied by detailed explanations that showcased the team's deep knowledge and passion. Every question was met with thoughtful answers, adding a personal touch to the journey.

A special mention goes to Lavaya, whose attentive and friendly service elevated the meal. The entire Salon team played a part, seamlessly working together to create a dining experience that felt as special as it was delicious. From start to finish, every detail was handled with care, making this a dining experience to remember.

Great news! The United States has lifted its Level 3 travel advisory for Rwanda, signaling that this incredible destination is ready to welcome adventurers once again! Surrounded by water on three sides and nestled on a sand-tongue peninsula in the Okavango Delta, Chitabe is a wildlife haven like no other. Its diverse ecosystems support incredible predator-prey interactions, ensuring exceptional game viewing throughout the year.

As part of an exciting evolution, Wilderness Chitabe will temporarily close in January 2025 for a complete rebuild, reopening on April 16, 2025, with enhanced luxury and eco-conscious design. The new rooms will be significantly larger, offering 113m² of light, airy, and luxuriously appointed space, complete with insulated walls, ceilings, and floors for greater comfort. In keeping with sustainability, advanced evaporative air coolers inspired by ancient techniques will provide an energy-efficient cooling solution that circulates fresh air while embracing open-air living. The camp's design will feature a steel framework to minimize ground impact and eliminate the use of concrete, ensuring an environmentally mindful footprint. Guests can also look forward to a reimagined dining experience, promising unforgettable flavors of the Delta.

While Chitabe undergoes this transformation, Chitabe Lediba will remain open, continuing to welcome guests to the heart of the Delta. The wilderness awaits!

Tarryn has recently had the great pleasure to stay and experience in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. From the moment she arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the team made her feel right at home. Watching elephants up close, hearing the calls of lions at night, and spotting wild dogs was nothing short of magical. The food? Simply amazing! A bush dinner under the stars was a real highlight. The spa experience was like no other, with giraffes grazing nearby while she enjoyed a peaceful massage.

And getting to visit the local school and garden farm project was a reminder of how impactful travel can be, connecting us with communities in meaningful ways.

Sam’s recent adventure in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park was a dream come true. At Kutali Camp, she was captivated by its idyllic location on the Zambezi River, framed by a serene Winterthorn forest. With charming tents, a welcoming main area, and imaginative cuisine, Kutali delivered an authentic safari experience. Her highlights included thrilling game drives, river excursions, and reeling in Tiger Fish with Mark—a truly unforgettable stay.
Her journey continued , where the same warmth and hospitality awaited. Juliet, their gracious host, introduced them to the stunning Safari Suite, offering comfort as the season’s first rains arrived. Teresa's incredible journey through Botswana with was nothing short of magical! From the warm welcome to unforgettable wildlife encounters at each camp, every moment was filled with adventure and inspiration.
