We left Franschhoek wine region in the morning for the flight from Cape Town International Airport to Maun Airport in Botswana. On arrival in Maun, we transferred to Helicopter Horizons for the short 10 minute Helicopter transfer to .okavango Camps in the Okavango Delta owned by the . A welcome at Atzaro Camp was in the typical African welcome with the staff singing for all the guests.
Atzaro Camp is a small luxury camp suited to accommodate a family of 25 in 12 luxury suites.
This was going to be our accommodation for 3 nights for our Australian family of 25 guests .

We celebrated the new year at Atzaro Camp.

The Safari director for this family group was the co-founder of our company Quinton Conroy who applied his 25 years of experience in the industry to ensure that the guests have a magnicent holiday.

Sunny blue skies - Pure White Sand Dunes - Unforgettable Adventure!! 🤍
The excursion is run by the team at .venture.

Quad Biking Adventure with the family in the Atlantis Sand Dunes in Cape Town.

These spectacular pure white sand dunes covers an area of about 28 square Kilometers of pure white sand that reaches up to 50 metres (160 feet) high. They are located outside of Cape Town, and are in a protected and unspoiled area.
The Dunes are part of the Nature Reserve which plays an important role in water filtration and storage. The unique landscape also supports various plant and animal species.

The white sand Dunes have a variety of Adventure activities and there is everything for everyone;

Activities being offered such as;

Sandboarding
Quad Biking
4x4 trails
Jeep Experiences
Guided Tours
FMX motocross

The family from Australia visiting the prison gates of Drakenstein Correctional Centre formerly known as Victor Verster Maximum Prison, located between Franschhoek and Paarl.
At the prison gates stands a life-size bronze statue of Nelson Mandela.

This was the last place in which Nelson Mandela was incarcerated and served the last 14 months of his 27 years in prison in a house in Drakenstein Prison. It was through these gates that Mandela walked to freedom in 1990.

We took the family on the tour of Cape Peninsula and visited the Cape of Good Hope.
The Cape of Good Hope is the most South-Western point of the African continent. Cape of Good Hope is not the place where the Indian and Atlantic Ocean meet as many are led to believe. The actual southern most tip of Africa is located at Cape Agulhas which is located 2 degrees latitude to the South of Cape Point and a 3 hour drive to the east from Cape Town.

Cape Point is the home to several animal species such as Cape Mountain Zebra, The Bontebok antelope, the Eiland antelope which is the largest of the antelope species. You will also find Ostriches and the ever so present Chacma baboons which can be a real irritation because they will jump on you and sn**ch any item of food that you may be carrying.

Day 1. Today we went up Table Mountain in the most magnificent weather conditions. The group absolutely loved it, the views were spectacular on such a clear day.

Our next stop was the colourful area of Bo-Kaap with predominantly Muslim community. We walked around and took a few photographs before continuing with our city tour to visit all of the major historical locations of Cape Town.

The group needed to do some Christmas shopping and we returned to the Waterfront where they spent the afternoon exploring the V&A Waterfront.
In the evening, they have a very special Christmas Eve Dinner at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town.
