Day20- Grahamstown/Makhanda stayed at 8A St Aidans part of the - it was brilliant and the best breakfast we’ve had for a while. Met up with which was so much fun. The contrast between the well manicured schools and the rather run down town is evident. Our dinner at was excellent. @ 8A St Aidans Guest Lodge

Day19- After all the concerns about travelling through the Transkei... it was not too bad. Arrived at on the wild coast. It is just so beautiful- the remoteness is breathtaking. Families and couples seem to co-exist with the well defined areas - we so enjoyed watching kids having so much natural fun. That’s a in the tree above the dining area. Special place. We will be back!! @ Umngazi Hotel & Spa

DAY 10 - The drive from Cradle to Dullstroom was pretty easy. Potholes around Dullstroom are challenging. Spent the night which was lovely and the food excellent. The town was busy, quite twee but interesting enough for a walk around. @ The Highlander Hotel
