Representatives of the Palestinian Authority visited our stand They are very chuffed with South Africa and expressed their love for our country!

As our former President Nelson Mandela said, “We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedoms of the Palestinians.”

Ambassador Phumelele Stone Sizani visited our exhibition stand to hear more about what Travel-Click has to offer.

We had a good chat and he was intrigued by the keyrings we were giving away as mementos, which are made of recycled plastic bottles (swipe to see it).

He loved our presentation and said he’ll remember our company name! He also fondly reminisced about Muizenberg beach.

Day two consisted of meeting with potential buyers and discussing collaboration opportunities. Some Egyptian attendees visited our stand to hear more about South Africa as a travel destination and our services.

South African Ambassador in Germany, Phumelele Stone Sizani, and the newly appointed CEO of SA Tourism, Ms Nombulelo Guliwe, hosted a welcome event for the South African tourism exhibitors to which kicks off tomorrow.

At the event they shared how they’ve marketed South Africa as a tourism destination, which saw an increase in tourism of 42.8%.

The motto for this year’s convention is ‘Pioneer the transition in travel and tourism. Together.’ Which is exactly what we try to do!

We recently had our annual strategy session to connect as a team, set our collective and individual goals, reflect on last year’s performance and what we’d like to do better, as well as work on some exciting plans for our clients.

We were blessed to have Fatima Jakoet (the first Muslim female commercial pilot) join us to share her inspiring journey.

She shared her highs, how she navigated the lows, an exhilarating drug bust at the airport which set the wheels in motion for her to pursue her pilot license. And then pivoting from being a pilot to starting The Sakhikamva Foundation to ‘give wings to the dreams of others’.

So good to be representing and South Africa as a phenomenal tourist destination to the youth and students!

Soufia plans to visit Cape Town and we discussed a long list of activities and places to see, including the Garden Route. We gave her a little handmade memento and look forward to welcoming her to the Mother City very soon 🇿🇦

Kenya has considerable land area devoted to wildlife habitats, including the Masai Mara, where blue wildebeest and other bovids participate in a large-scale annual migration. More than one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras participate in the migration across the Mara River.

The "Big Five" game animals of Africa, that is the lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros, and elephant, can be found in Kenya and in the Masai Mara in particular. A significant population of other wild animals, reptiles, and birds can be found in the national parks and game reserves in the country.
