Within Cape Town I can send you the collection address when you order (I will get your email address). Outside of Cape Town I can deliver via Postnet at R100 per book. Selling price is R300 - if you want to buy 10 or more the price is R250. I thoroughly enjoyed planning, booking and hosting a trip for Daren and Ellen. They loved their stay. This is the photo they sent me on their arrival at Kariega. The fact that I could also guide them now that I am a qualified Western Cape tourist guide, was another huge positive. I am expanding my offering to include tailor made holidays for couples, small groups - in addition to my ongoing sporting and cultural tours. Please spread the word. My first group in 18 months, Thorntree Prep from Mokopane. The Principal and parents decided nothing was going to shatter these kids’ dreams - not even Covid. What an incredible week for these 3 teachers and 25 youngsters. We packed it all in with every Covid protocol observed. A few of my highlights? My Cullinan Hotel room view - we were upgraded; Table Mountain of course - it was freezing on top; Boulders penguins; Kirstenbosch; chocolate tasting at de Villiers Chocolates at the Spice Route; Eagle Encounters at Spier; cheese tasting at Klein River. And of course an inspirational talk from Dave de Beer and some stunning whale sightings. It was exhausting but exhilarating seeing these kids experience so many new things. Some had never flown before or been to the beach. They are going home today as changed humans. Memories forever.

27 April 1994 - the first free and democratic election in South Africa. Today I will be spending some time reflecting on how privileged I am to live in this beautiful country. I’ll be remembering the men and women who dedicated their lives to our freedom. Happy Freedom Day to all my fellow Saffers all over the world.
