What a great week it was looking back this May spending time doing the Cape Town Cost of Living video with PassportHeavy. Making new friends and new exciting journeys became a possibility for me. It's great that Jubril the founder of Passport Heavy decided to share the beauty of my hometown Cape Town with his Global audience on his travel channel. Despite whatever political negativity is happening in SA at the moment Cape Town will always be home and the city which I love the most.

Very interesting to see in the video how the price comparisons are done between LA & Cape Town. It just shows again why Cape Town takes awards every year on the global Travel stage as a top destination to visit. The value for money is astonishingly good coming from the States or Europe. It's funny how the rand getting weaker is actually encouraging a boost in Tourism and people visiting because their Dollars and Euros are just getting stronger! Also I think with the instability in many traditional tourist spots in Europe many travellers are looking elsewhere to take holidays.

I hope you guys enjoy the video and if you have friends visiting Cape Town looking to some fun outdoor activities please ask them to pop me a mail and we can plan some cool experiences. This was a really fun day out shopping and tasting lovely food and enjoying live music . The fun never ended whilst exploring on the Scooters. We ended up on Chapmans Peak and circled back over kloof neck road!
