Machining the 50 x 30 x 1m HDPE material that forms part of the anchor chain gutter to be mounted on the foredeck. This is to prevent the anchor chain damaging the painted deck. The milling machine is fitted with a bullnose cutter, and the material is being fed freehand through the cutter under the top and front clamp guides, much like a router.

Using the paper template supplied with the Lofrans Falkon windlass, to mark out the numerous hole positions. I don't like putting so many holes through the upper deck, but this is what the drawing calls for. Plus the additional gypsy chain stripper that fits under the second gypsy.
