They say people make the difference, and that is exactly how it is at Kings Camp Lodge. Warren and his team are amazing and every guest leaving today felt like leaving a family home. Grant the ranger and Goodman the tracker were amazing. Grant’s knowledge is next level and I would have loved more game drives with him. The game viewing in Timbavati Game Reserve is spectacular. Great place to be based for 3 or 4 nights.

Cats, cats and more cats! Unbelievable leopard and lion sightings in Thornybush Game Reserve. Stayed at Saseka Tented Camp which was beautiful. Love the architecture and interior design too. Got to also experience a very special braai in the dry river bed and an exciting bush walk this morning. Perfect lodge for honeymooners.

The elephant interaction experience with HERD - Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development. Adine and her team at Jabulani Safari do such an amazing job with these beautiful rehabilitated elephants. Definitely worth a visit for any wildlife conservation enthusiast.

Creation Wines is one of our favourite wine estates and a must-visit for their spectacular food & wine pairing lunches…but now they have an awesome accommodation option if you are looking for an authentic wine farm stay too. Die Voormanshuis is perfect to combine with the food & wine experience, as you don’t need to worry about tasting too much of their award-winning wines.…it’s just a short walk to your beautiful room! Thank you to Salome and the team for hosting us. Definitely worth adding to any Overberg/Hermanus itinerary.

Clovelly Country Club is one of the true gems in Cape Town, only a short drive from the Constantia Winelands, this parkland layout is in excellent condition all year round!
