MOUNTAIN YOGA RETREAT

I am so excited to be spending some time on Table Mountain again! It really is Magical! We will be in the mountains for 2 nights & almost 3 days - hiking, yoga, swimming, eating and watching fantastic sunsets!

When

7 - 9 December 2024

We will meet early on the 7th December 2024 at Constantia Nek. And we will return at midday on 9th December 2024, or if you need to make it to work, you could always leave early Monday. Spending 2 nights on the Mountain. Our bags will be taken up & you will only carry your day pack, snacks, water and lunch.

Why

It is time for you! Time to set your intention for 2025 & to spend quality time in nature!

In our busy lives, we often don’t get the chance to pause and re-connect to ourselves & family. We will reconnect to nature and the natural rhythm of life. This retreat will leave you feeling grounded and uplifted.

You will have time to move mindfully with your body & breath, time to rest or walk in nature & to immerse your body into coldwater(optional).

You will be nourished rainbow foods & connect with beautiful people.

A wonderful few days surrounded by the beauty of nature. Time to nurture your body, soul & spirit.

This practice was slow and mindful and about a hour long. It’s much harder to slow you transitions down and to have control of your body from one shape to another. The past few years I have focused on mobility and strength, to move with more agility rather than focusing on an end shape or range of movement. Morning Yoga Online class. Some days I just feel the need to teach and move the body in non traditional yoga ways. We did a lot of hip external, which we usually do but also focusing on internal rotation of the hips/ femur bone in the hip joint.
