Greyhound Introduces Luxury Travel Option

The bus company has recently introduced their Dreamliners to South African roads, which boasts luxury features like comfortable seats, USB ports and charger plugs as well as refreshments. The new coaches also includes some of the latest safety measures.

Fastjet Adds Flights

The airline has increased flights between Johannesburg and Harare to 50 per week in order to meet the demand for business and leisure travellers. Fastjet has also increased flights between Harare and Victoria Falls.

British Airways Cabin Crew Strike

British Airways's cabin crew will embark on a strike between 1-16 July 2017. The 16-day strike will likely affect passengers travelling to and from London Heathrow, although the airline will take some measures to minimise the effect.

Devastating Knysna Fire Also Affects Tourism

Whilst Plettenberg Bay Airport was able to reopen on Friday and emerged relatively unscathed, many tourist attractions in the Knysna area were not so lucky. Roughly 20 tourism establishments were either damaged or completely burnt down, with both The Plettenberg Park Hotel and Spa and Phantom Forest Lodge confirming that they had to cancel all bookings. We'd encourage everyone with confirmed bookings in Knysna and Plett to re-confirm.

Kulula: Infants Pay 15% Of Total Flight Fare

Kulula airlines has announced that they will no longer charge a set fee for minors, rather letting children under the age of 2 years old pay 15% of the adult fare. That means that infants are also subject to fluctuations in price for peak travel periods.
