One of the most fascinating places we explore on our popular Cape to Namibia trip, is Kolmanskop, a ghost town near the port town of Luderitz. This former mining town was completely abandoned by the mid 1950s once the diamonds dried up and slowly, the desert has reclaimed its hold.
