A very interesting fact about our company…. We have our very own AMO!!

One of the ways Sport Helicopters prioritizes safety is by owning its own AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organisation), appropriately named “The AMO,” located at the Cape Town International Airport. This facility specializes in maintaining Bell and Robinson helicopters, both of which are used by Sport Helicopters and other businesses. By having its own AMO, Sport Helicopters can ensure that its fleet of helicopters is always in top condition and meets the highest safety standards.

“The AMO” is a helicopter service provider that is situated at the Cape Town International Airport general aviation area. They specialize in providing professional maintenance and repair services for helicopters. Their services include carrying out full inspections on helicopters to ensure they meet specific regulations such as having the necessary Registration and Airworthiness certification and adhering to the FAA-approved flight manual. The AMO also stays up-to-date with the latest airplane and engine operations and maintenance regulations.
