We saw this beautiful caracal last April on an early morning drive at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park! 🤩.

They are around in urban areas as well and need to be protected under all circumstances!

Here now, as promised, some first impressions of our recent Botswana trip 🇧🇼 🤩

👉 Botswana Adventures “The First” 🐾 😉:

📍 Leroo La Tau - Makgadikgadi Pans!

A little “bush hopper flight” took us from Maun right to Leroo La Tau Air Strip at the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park! We arrived just on time to witness the famous Zebra migration! Oh wow…hundreds & hundreds of zebras passing through on their long journey for water & food! We could even watch them from the deck of the beautiful Leroo La Tau Lodge which is overlooking the Boteti River banks! An absolute thrilling adventure! 🤩

Can you believe it….together we made it through another year….and what a wonderful year it was in so many ways! 👍🏻We met so many of you “old friends” and also quite a number of “new friends” ! It is the most rewarding thing for us to hear about all your adventures and the many happy lifetime memories that have been created! They are so special, precious & valuable and they can never be taken away from you/us, ever again! This is the greatest treasure! 🥰🤗

Yes, you might say that not everything was good during this year and that the world is in so much trouble right now, and yes, it still feels sometimes as if we all navigate still through weird & sad times, however, as 2022 comes to an end and the new year 2023 is approaching with fast steps, be reminded that there is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate your life daily! 🎉 ✨

If you reflect on the good things you will realize that there is actually so much to be grateful for! The key to inner happiness is, to focus on the good things, stay optimistic, make plans, have faith & trust and most importantly spread love & kindness wherever you can! It is your attitude towards life that makes you happy! You are the magnet of your thoughts and you attract what you think….there is no doubt so let it better be good stuff most of the time….! 😉🤩👍🏻

It doesn’t mean that we have to turn a blind eye to what’s going on in the world….but it’s healing and a necessity to switch off the news, the TV, social media etc for some times (or better more times) as we give far too much space to all the negativity in the world and in our daily lives and it can blurry our vision! It is too big a task for you and me alone to change the whole world for good and this feeling can be quite overwhelming at times!

Start in your little circle….the people around you, ….see the good in them, talk to strangers, your neighbor, be open for new thoughts & replace old views if necessary, go out & recharge in nature…plan new adventures, make plans, never give up on people you love, spread a little kindness every day and you will find that there is still so much beauty, so much adventure and so much good going on right around you! 🤗🥰

Negativity is contagious and spreads quickly, but so is positivity! If your little circle is happy and connects with your neighbor’s happy little circle and the next…and so on we WILL grow a bigger happy circle, we WILL make a difference and definitely something good WILL be accomplished!

In this sense & meaning we wish you & your family for the new year 2023 that your happy circle around you will grow bigger by the day! We wish you abundance of love, light, health, joy and happiness and the ability to see & celebrate the good things in life! That you will feel love and kindness in the same or even bigger way that you spread love and kindness! 🍄🍀🌹
