We saw this beautiful caracal last April on an early morning drive at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park! 🤩.

They are around in urban areas as well and need to be protected under all circumstances!

📍 Leroo La Tau - Makgadikgadi Pans!

A little “bush hopper flight” took us from Maun right to Leroo La Tau Air Strip at the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park! We arrived just on time to witness the famous Zebra migration! Oh wow…hundreds & hundreds of zebras passing through on their long journey for water & food! We could even watch them from the deck of the beautiful Leroo La Tau Lodge which is overlooking the Boteti River banks! An absolute thrilling adventure! 🤩

Hi our dear Relax’n Travel family & friends! 💕 ….when you see a rhino on “your stoep” it’s certainly a reason to popp a bottle of champagne….! 🦏🥂🍾🤩 Guys, just believe in miracles to happen and they will! ✨💫 Can you believe it….together we made it through another year….and what a wonderful year it was in so many ways! 👍🏻We met so many of you “old friends” and also quite a number of “new friends” ! It is the most rewarding thing for us to hear about all your adventures and the many happy lifetime memories that have been created! They are so special, precious & valuable and they can never be taken away from you/us, ever again! This is the greatest treasure! 🥰🤗 Yes, you might say that not everything was good during this year and that the world is in so much trouble right now, and yes, it still feels sometimes as if we all navigate still through weird & sad times, however, as 2022 comes to an end and the new year 2023 is approaching with fast steps, be reminded that there is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate your life daily! 🎉 ✨ If you reflect on the good things you will realize that there is actually so much to be grateful for! The key to inner happiness is, to focus on the good things, stay optimistic, make plans, have faith & trust and most importantly spread love & kindness wherever you can! It is your attitude towards life that makes you happy! You are the magnet of your thoughts and you attract what you think….there is no doubt so let it better be good stuff most of the time….! 😉🤩👍🏻 It doesn’t mean that we have to turn a blind eye to what’s going on in the world….but it’s healing and a necessity to switch off the news, the TV, social media etc for some times (or better more times) as we give far too much space to all the negativity in the world and in our daily lives and it can blurry our vision! A warm welcome to our page! For those who don’t know us yet....it is time to “introduce” ourselves - “Mr & Mrs Relax’n Travel”...! 😉

Having always been passionate travellers, especially in Southern Africa, we decided to move from Germany to South Africa in 1999 and to make our passion to our profession and South Africa/Cape Town to our new home!

Ever since, we are always on the lookout for special lodges, places & accommodations, the secret gems and hidden treasures for you, our valued “Relax’n Travellers”! We are constantly expanding our well established & reliable network of partners of all kinds, not only in South Africa, but also in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia/Vic Falls, Zanzibar and Mozambique! Africa has such an incredible versatility! Beautiful landscapes, mountains, wildlife and the Big 5, beaches, whales, colourful cities, excellent restaurants, cuisine & wines, many different cultures & a famous history - to mention only a few.

We fell in love with Africa already over twenty years ago...when we were “infected” with the “Virus Africanus” how we like to call it! 😉 It is definitely a wonderful one to have...but never say you haven’t been warned ... you should know that once you have experienced, seen, smelled and felt Africa for the first time, there is no other cure than to come back again & again....because this is the only cure that works! You can leave Africa...but it will never leave you!
