Surfshack Volunteer Cape Town aims to provide an authentic and rewarding Surf Voluntourism experience, while making a positive difference in the lives of the children we serve. It is well known that volunteering promotes self-growth, cultural understanding, and provides international volunteers with a unique opportunity to really experience a country first hand. The unique experience of living and working alongside the locals while reaching out a helping hand. It affords the opportunity to explore the best Cape Town has to offer while soaking up the sunshine on our golden beaches and enjoy the thrill of surfing our many different surf breaks. We believe in POSSIBILITY by providing life enriching volunteer experiences through mutually beneficial shared experiences of engaging the volunteers and children in sporting, educational and creative activities. There by creating a tool to break down the barriers to opportunity and independence caused by poverty. We are committed to building a brighter future for the children we serve by providing creative and meaningful opportunities for them to transform their own lives by focusing on developing the values and skills they need to be successful in life and make a significant difference in their communities. Volunteers can be assured that their investment of time, energy and enthusiasm will be greatly appreciated and have a significant impact. We can’t help every child but with your support we can make a difference and bring hope and joy to the children we serve and enable them to believe in possibility to reach for their dreams and succeed.
