A Cheetah in the snow… Not a chance right? In 2020 I came to realize it was indeed possible with the right planning. Documenting these scenes helped tell a conservation success story of the re-introduction of endangered Cheetah to the Karoo region of South Africa. The story also shows nature’s ability to survive and adapt under even the harshest environmental conditions. #icecatsofafrica

Geladas - scary-looking vegans?

Despite resembling carnivorous demons, Geladas are the only primates that are primarily grazers. 90% of their diet consists of grass, and they eat both blades and seeds. They also eat flowers, rhizomes and roots as well as herbs, small plants, fruits, creepers, bushes, and thistles.
