A Cheetah in the snow… Not a chance right? In 2020 I came to realize it was indeed possible with the right planning. Documenting these scenes helped tell a conservation success story of the re-introduction of endangered Cheetah to the Karoo region of South Africa. The story also shows nature’s ability to survive and adapt under even the harshest environmental conditions.

Prints for Wildlife
The previous image I donated to Prints for Wildlife generated US$5000 in a short space of time all thanks to your support. We’ve released a new print which we hope will to the same.
Did you know COVID-19 is having a devastating impact on protected areas in Africa? The pandemic has brought the international tourism sector to a standstill, along with critical revenue for wildlife and communities. But we found a way to help! I am proud to share that I along with more than 80 other globally renowned wildlife photographers have come together for the Prints for Wildlife campaign to provide limited edition prints. 100% of the proceeds (after printing and handling) will be donated to African Parks so that they can continue to protect wildlife and deliver benefits to local communities during the COVID pandemic.
Available for a limited time, each print costs 100 USD and are printed on Hahnemuhle natural line Hemp fine-art paper, 30x45cm with a 1cm border.
Please show your support for wildlife and communities; purchase or gift a print; share this message, and join us in being part of the solution to securing Africa’s wild places. If you aren't able to buy a print yourself, please do share this message with your friends and family.
Thank you for joining with us, helping to protect wildlife, supporting conservation and the people whose lives depend on it more than ever. Click the link to see how you can purchase a limited print.

10 Years of Dreaming
After quite some time in the editing room, we've just released a new video created for ORYX Photo Tours.
Geladas - scary-looking vegans?
Despite resembling carnivorous demons, Geladas are the only primates that are primarily grazers. 90% of their diet consists of grass, and they eat both blades and seeds. They also eat flowers, rhizomes and roots as well as herbs, small plants, fruits, creepers, bushes, and thistles. So, overall, Geladas are basically scary-looking vegans with a taste for greens, rather than a taste for flesh.

Journey to Ethiopia for its Wildlife
NEW VIDEO - 'Journey to Ethiopia for its Wildlife'
I recently return from leading a photo tour to Ethiopia’s Bale and Simien Mountains. These are the mountain ranges home to the rare Ethiopian Wolf and charismatic Geladas. With endemic plant species, mammals & birdlife, the combination offers a chance to capture the natural wonders of Ethiopia.
If you have questions about experiencing the wildlife and cultures of Ethiopia, drop me a message. Read more about our next photo tour in Feb 2021:
