Featuring one of our cottages 🧡 This 2-bedroom suite comes with 2 king-sized beds, luxury baths, and a private whirlpool bath! 🛁

It’s also got a fully equipped kitchen, TV, fireplaces (both indoor and outdoor) as well as air conditioning. Plus, if you prefer to visit with kids or your friends, we can always swop the king beds for singles — whatever you’d prefer! 🤗

💚 A guest favourite at weddings? Lawn games! They’re perfect for entertaining guests while the bridal party takes some pictures!

Recently a happy couple turned our Opstal’s lawn into a game setup! Naught’s and crosses, jenga, tou trek (tug of war), badminton, limbo, dominoes and even trampolines for the kiddies. 🤩

A moment for our beautiful, lush grounds ✨ We’re nestled within a valley at the foot of the Cederberg mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its natural beauty and biodiversity.

Each cottage is thoughtfully positioned, using indigenous plants to enhance privacy. Soak up the beauty from within Cederkloof or feel free to explore beyond – there are phenomenal, world-class hiking trails of all levels and intensities in and around the area that we highly recommend.

Did you know that every cottage at Cederkloof Botanical Retreat has a built-in whirlpool bath? 💙 This special cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms with king-size beds and en-suites – and we can change these to single beds if needed!

Meet the residents of Cederkloof Botanical Retreat! 💚 Thank you for giving us a glimpse into the wildlife that still calls this special part of the Cederberg home.

The Cape Leopard Trust has been busy at work doing a camera trap survey in the Cederberg and Piketberg areas. As part of the survey, and in support of conservation, we allowed camera traps to be set in and around our reserve to capture any images of roaming leopards and other creatures — and these were the results!
