3-day KNP Tour

The poaching situation in South Africa has reached epidemic proportions where in Kruger park alone up to 500 hundred a year have been lost to poachers. A few years ago there were 5000 free roaming white Rhinos , there are probably about 3000 left today ( this is my estimation) . Even worst there are only about 500 black rhinos left in the park. Please do remember when taking photos to switch off locations on your mobile phone and to keep Kruger park photos in general with maximum security on Facebook , Instagram and similar sites as I am told, they become a source to poachers for locating these animals. Thank you

We,ve all been reading about the poaching of our Rhinos, particularly in KNP over the past few years. Was at Lesedi Cultural Village a few days ago when a group from China arrived for the show. At the end of the show the MC (dressed in his traditional african skins) delivered a short but excellent speech and referred to the poaching problem facing us here in RSA. Hopefully our Chinese guests will take the message home and that other similar institutions will follow the example set by Lesedi.

About us...

Boma Tours was formed in December 1995 and is a close knit family business. We have hosted many quality, guided safaris and arrange safaris to popular tourist hot spots in South Africa like the Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands and tourist attractions throughout South Africa.

We specialise in arranging visits for guests wishing to experience the many different cultures and varied landscapes that make up our Rainbow Nation.

Our guides are qualified with D.E.A.T (Dept. of Environmental Affairs & Tourism) and F.G.A.S.A. (Field Guide’s Ass. of South Africa). This ensures that you experience the thrill of the African bush and gain first-hand knowledge of these pristine Big 5 regions.
