Now that the 245 days of January are almost behind us, we can start planning for all the fun things happening in Clarens in the next few months!
First up, we have the National Beer Day festivities at Clarens Brewery this weekend! Don't miss their amazing beer and food specials, live music, and more on 1 February.
There's two great events taking place in Golden Gate National Park. First up is the Birding Weekend from 7 to 9 Feb and then the first ever Dino Challenge MTB and Trail Run on the 8th of March. The marathon is taking place on that same Saturday, and this year, Fouriesburg is hosting the event.
February is the month of love, and many restaurants and accommodations in Clarens are celebrating with specials. Keep a lookout for more on that! There's also a cheese making course at Dunelm Guest Farm on Valentine's weekend that's not to be missed. Dunelm Gasteplaas
One of the biggest events on our village calendar is taking place on Friday 28 Feb and Saturday 1 March... jip, it's time for the annual Clarens Craft Beer Festival. To those who are lucky enough to have secured tickets and accommodation, enjoy the festival! You can expect a massive and delicious selection of beers, ciders, and more from the top breweries around the country, as well as awesome live music, yummy food, and a great vibe.
