Christo Roos, well known Cowboy and story teller of Clarens , with his family will take you on a ride by car, horseback or a hike, sharing with you the beauty and history of Clarens. With 30 years of experience as horse and Safari guide, it will be a must when you visit Clarens.
My family came to Clarens in 1865 as pioneer farmers but in 1990 I changed the farm into a Tourist haven. My love for the area and the beauty of it urged me to start a tour and trail company out of Clarens it-self.
Clarens have so much to offer for example: How Clarens was founded and the name of it. The Sand Stone mountains are the main attraction taking you back to the first visitors namely the Khoisan (Bushmans) and their history engraved in the caves.
