We recently had the pleasure of staying at Amani Guest House which we simply must recommend. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning garden surrounding the house. Lush greenery and vibrant flowers greeted us at every turn, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere that set the tone for our entire stay. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the warm and welcoming host, Niki, who exuded positivity and kindness from the moment she greeted us. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host's good energies were infectious and made for a truly uplifting experience. She was always available to answer any questions we had and offered great recommendations for local sights and activities. She went out of her way to add a kind gesture when she found out we had a birthday during out stay. To top it all off, Amani is located in an ideal spot, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and take advantage of all that it has to offer. Overall, our stay at Amani was nothing short of fantastic. The beautiful garden, friendly and positive host, and ideal location made for a truly unforgettable experience. We can't recommend this hotel enough and can't wait to return for another stay in the future!

Amani Guest House (Previously known as Hakuna Matata)

What better way to meet some of the most awesome people than to create a place of “peace” when travelling through Clarens, or making a holiday of it? That’s exactly what our vision was when opening the doors to our Guest House in June 2017. Now, almost a year later, we are proud to christen our little dream with a new name... The word “Amani”, meaning PEACE in Swahili, describes what we try to offer each of our visitors. Our tranquil garden, friendly staff and all round homey feeling will want you returning with your next trip to Clarens.

Amani (16 Horeb Street) offers affordable accommodation close to the center of town that includes:

Free WiFi, Free private parking on site, Private Bathroom, sitting area in the larger room, Basic kitchen requirements including fridge & bottle opener (in the larger room), kettle and small stove.
