❄ ADVANCE SNOW FORECAST: Very heavy low-level snowfall possible from this coming weekend. Currently data indicates it could be more substantial that the snow from this weekend, but it is vital to note that this is an advance forecast. It may reduce completely, it may scale back, or the dates may change.

Considering that our forecasts helped a lot of people decide not to travel well in advance of the weekend's snow disaster, we believe that this advance forecast is vital no matter how it finally unfolds.

Should this event unfold as the data currently indicates the various authorities will need to start planning right away. We have a lot of experience with snow, including on the ground in South Africa and in heavy snow in other parts of the world, as well as in risk management and mitigation. We are more than willing with work with authorities, as the last weekend has clearly shown.

☃️WIDESPREAD SPRING SNOW EXPECTED ACROSS 7 PROVINCES❄️

Well, if you thought winter was over, think again, as promising Spring Snow approaches.

Spring Snow Possible Across 7 Provinces and Lesotho

This week Thursday 19 September through to Saturday 21 September (start of Astronomical Spring) we can expect to see some widespread snowfalls across 7 provinces.

A strong cut off low with a ridging high pressure system will bring cold air from the south creating good conditions for snow.

This is still an advanced forecast and is subject to change.
