In 1889, the town of Dullstroom was founded on this very farm, known then as Grootsuikerbochkop.
The farm was owned by the family of J.H.H. Janson, the Administrator of the Nederduits Hervormde Church. His son, P.J.S. Janson, who was born in 1919, became a dedicated farmer after WWII, and passed on the land’s rich cultural heritage to his daughter, J.H. Janson, after his death.
The farm has since been converted into 2 outstanding accommodation venues, offering modern, self-catering facilities and a range of relaxing activities for all ages.
