Oxpecker hitching a ride on a buffalo. These birds offer a cleaning service, removing unwanted parasites from herbivores. They also act as an early warning watchman, should they see any danger approaching! They can irritate old wounds, opening them up again, causing infection. However, for the most part, they are beneficial to their hosts.
