Dear Travel Partner,
It is with regret that we inform you that unfortunately, due to the delay to approve cruise operations in South Africa, and after already having cancelled the first half of the season while waiting for the final government approval, we were left with no option other than to cancel all remaining sailings of the local season through April 2021.
MSC Cruises has worked since March 2020 in close collaboration with the relevant authorities in South Africa for approval of its comprehensive health and safety protocol designed for the wellbeing of our guests and crew.
We have appreciated our interaction with government and thank them for their hard work and diligence in all our communication during these difficult times.
Please see attached our latest press release regarding the local cruise season. Please note that shortly travel agents will receive an email with details regarding their clients’ specific cruise departure.
On behalf of the entire MSC Cruises team, we wish to extend our sincere appreciation for your patience, continued support and apologise for any inconvenience caused which unfortunately is a situation beyond our control.
