Day 1. Nairobi - the beginning of your Serengeti and Masai Mara Safari!
On your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport near Nairobi, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Overnight at the hotel in a Deluxe Balcony room http://www.serenahotels.com/serenanairobi/media-en.html
Day 2. Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast your guide will meet you at the hotel for your trip to the Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro is visible in the distance. Your close encounter with Africa’s amazing wildlife starts this afternoon on you first safari. Amboseli has an abundance of lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest among others. After this introduction to what you can expect on the rest of the safari, return to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Amboseli National Park
"Amboseli" is the Masai word for "salty dust". Today join an early morning safari in this reserve. After lunch and some relaxing time, we join another wildlife experience. This park is known for its large herds of elephants up close. Explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up beds and wetlands with Sulphur springs to savannah and woodlands - all in Amboseli. Late afternoon we return to our hotel for overnight.
Day 4. Amboseli National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
An early morning breakfast and then depart for the Namanga border into Tanzania where you will go through immigration. Proceed to the Lake Manyara National Park with game viewing and a packed lunch en-route. This reserve is known for the blue monkeys, bushbuck, buffalo, wildebeest and giraffe amongst many other animals. It also is home to much of Tanzania’s birdlife with more than 400 species having been recorded. Day 5. Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, travel to the village of Mto wa Mbu for a visit. Over 120 different ethnic communities reside harmoniously together here and they are involved in various economic activities, holding varied norms and beliefs. From here, travel to the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy breathtaking views of the crater below from our accommodation. Day 6. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
This morning after breakfast, we descend some 610meters to the crater floor; one of the richest wildlife habitats around. We can see the huge Savannah Elephants, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, Burchell’s zebras and prides of lion among many others. The scenery in this crater, the largest free-standing caldera in the world measuring some 10km in diameter, is breath-taking. Day 7. Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart to the Serengeti. We visit the Ol Dupai gorge – an archaeological site where Dr. Leakey discovered some remains of the ancestral man in his quest to unearth the mystery of evolution. The resident guide will explain the artifacts, its theory and history to us. Enjoy a packed lunch while on safari and travel to the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight. An optional visit to the Cultural Masai village in Ngorongoro is US$ 30 Per Person
Day 8. Serengeti National Park
An optional early morning balloon Safari over the Serengeti Plains with a champagne breakfast can be booked at US$ 500 Per Person
Afterwards depart with picnic lunch for a full day on safari in the vast reserve. Serengeti houses hundreds of thousands of wild animals. These include leopard, rhino, impala, Thompson gazelles, Masai giraffes, Burchell’s zebras, warthogs, etc. Awe at the extremely varied and scenic landscape.

Day 9. Serengeti National Park – Lake Victoria
After breakfast we depart for the Serenity on the Lake Eco Resort situated on the shores of Lake Victoria in time for lunch. The afternoon is at your leisure to view Lake Victoria, the largest in Africa and the second widest freshwater lake in the world. John Speke discovered the lake in 1858 as the source of the River Nile and named it after Queen Victoria.

Day 10. Lake Victoria - Masai Mara Game Reserve
An early morning breakfast before we depart with picnic lunch to Masai Mara via the Isebania border into Kenya. The game reserve is home to hundreds of animal species. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, elephant, rhino, elusive leopard, Masai giraffe, waterbuck, warthog, Thompson & grant's gazelles and the resident wildebeest among many others. Day 11. Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast we commence with our safari searching for the wide variety of wildlife and in particular the Big-Five(lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo). Day 12. Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi (Last day of the Serengeti and Masai Mara Safari)
Unfortunately you have reached the end of your African safari and after breakfast we return to Nairobi. If time permits, enjoy a farewell lunch at the carnivore restaurant before your guide drop you off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. You can take an hour flight from the lodge in the morning to the airport at an additional cost.
