On the way home yesterday, their last day of a 22 day tour I planned for an overland group through Botswana and Zimbabwe, I received this message from one of my guests:
“We have so enjoyed this adventure John thanks to your excellent planning skills and knowledge. Look forward to catching up with you and sharing the highlights of this trip. On our way home now and willl let you know when we arrive safely.”

So rewarding.

For South Africans to see large-scale migrations, the immediate thought is to travel to the Serengeti or Masai Mara at great cost. This photo was sent to me 2 weeks ago by one of my guests, in Botswana, along the Boteti river, a lot closer to home, while on a tour I planned for their group. You can see for yourself how impressive this zebra migration is. Give me a call or send me an email, and you too can witness this spectacle for yourself…

It’s always good to put faces to names. I met these two wonderful guys at Trade Bookings at Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. They always bend over backwards to help with bookings. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Thanks Vikash and Mfundo for your help over the last few years, especially during the difficulties that COVID brought about. I met them today at Africa’s Travel Indaba being held at the ICC in Durban.
