KZN Tourism & Film, together with Durban Tourism , proudly celebrates the maiden docking of MSC Euribia—the largest vessel to ever grace South African shores, with a capacity of 6,000 guests. The occasion was marked by a traditional exchange of crests between the vessel’s Master and local authorities, symbolising the strong ties and exciting opportunities in cruise tourism.

This milestone showcases the benefits of the upgraded Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal, paving the way for continued growth in the sector. Tourism partners were also in attendance, promoting “cruise to land/land to cruise” packages that highlight the best of Durban and KZN for travellers.
