Wild Coast Tour 2024
One of our guests, Liezel Fowler, posing with a taxi driver (Nicholas) from Langa in Cape Town at the Qora River on our final day on tour.

The taxi had stopped and occupants enjoyed a cooling swim in the river. Some local Xhosa kids joined the party and it was extremely pleasing to see the natural interaction taking place between everyone. Ubuntu at work.

I’ve posted this photo this morning as a positive spin to all the negative news that social media thrives on- in particular their favourite scapegoat, the Wild Coast.

We toured almost 1000 km over 11 days covering the entire area, which included so called “hot spots” like Lusikisiki, Port St Johns, Willowvale and Mthatha.

We didn’t have a single incident. We never felt threatened or vulnerable. You will not find a friendlier populace anywhere in South Africa.

Everyone waved, smiled and chatted with us at every opportunity. The Wild Coast is an incredible place to visit. This was our 9th tour and we are already setting the dates for our 10th tour, which will be in May 2025.

Put out positive energy and you will receive it back in abundance.
