Hintergrund

Andrea hat 35 Jahre in der Tourismusbranche verbracht, davon 21 Jahre in Deutschland, wo sie nur die besten Produkte Afrikas an anspruchsvolle Kunden verkauft hat, und 14 Jahre in Afrika, wo sie sich auf Safaris und Reisen in Afrika spezialisiert hat.

Trevor war 30 Jahre lang weltweit im Finanzwesen tätig, bevor er eine 62 000 km lange Reise im Geländewagen durch Afrika von London nach Durban, Südafrika, unternahm. Die Reise berührte seine Seele und im Jahr 2015 wurden Cybele Eco Tours und Butler in the Bush geboren.

We are a Tour Operator and private guiding service, based in South Africa. We have a combined tourism experience of over 50 years.

We specialise in 'Off the beaten track travel', all bespoke tours, no scheduled tours.

All of our properties are hand-picked and unlike most agents and operators we do not try to sell high commissioned products, but we sell the best product that fits the cluent's budget,from our small hand,-picked portfolio of Africa's top products.

We offer both guided and self-guided itineraries.

Our intial one hour Zoom is obligation free, as we wish to promote this amazing continent and it's fantastic people, irrespective of whether we receive a booking or not.

A percentage of ALL guided tours is donated from OUR profits to a NGO that the guests select, from our vetted list.

Our Story

Cybele Eco Tours is a South African based tour operator, specialising in bespoke owner tailored tours to ‘Off the Beaten Track’ areas in Southern Africa.

All tours are personally customised to the clients wishes after personal owner consultation with guests. In order to create Upliftment, we employ local accreditted guides at all destinations, where possible. Bespoke tours range from one to 21 days, offering Southern Africa though ‘our eyes’. Total immersion with fauna, flora and the cultural gems of our continent.Guests are encouraged to leave the ‘First world’ behind, and experience the soul of ‘Africa’

Our signature tour, is ‘Butler in the Bush’, owner guided, hosted and cheffed, for discerning guests who wish to discover the real soul of Africa firsthand. Catering of the high standard is incorporated into all our tours, which are personally customised to the clients exact wishes.
